The Fixed Base Plate Design app takes compression, shear and moment plus plate, column and anchor data. It reports extreme bearing, required thickness and combined anchor tension/shear.
- Enter service or factored actions in the same units as the source sheet (kN, kN·m, mm, MPa).
- Set plate size and thickness you intend to issue.
- Set column footprint so the cantilever projection is correct.
- Review governing ratio. Anything above 1.0 is REVIEW, not a pass.
